As part of a Local Council’s seaside town regeneration project In Ex Design produced a feasibility study proposal for the extension and refurbishment of a seaside café. The proposal looked to add a first floor to create a new formal dining restaurant which took advantage of the height of the building and the views. The existing ground floor of the building was proposed to be over clad and the same materials would then wrap around the first floor extension. The refurbishment included improvements to the external areas, a new ice cream parlour and new public WC’s and showers. The result would be a modern stand out building which would have seasonal and local uses, attracting new and a wider range of clients.
In Ex Design produced a series of concept plans and 3D visualisations of the scheme which the Council were able to use for a public consultation.
