A full modern refurbishment and dormer extension of a semi-detached family home in Mid Devon. Works included a dormer extension to convert an attic room to create a master bedroom and en-suite on the first floor and reconfiguration of the ground floor internal layout to create an open plan kitchen dining room, utility and wet room.
The existing exterior of the property has been rendered and clad with timber over the existing brickwork to modernise the look of the property and tie in with the new horizontal timber cladding on the dormer extension.
The landscaping scheme allows for a dining terrace which can be accessed from the dining room through glazed bi-fold doors. By continuing the same flooring through from the dining room to the terrace it creates an outdoor dining space which flows from the interior.
