At In Ex Design we have been using the Houzz web site to share our online portfolio for the past five years. You can see our portfolio here.
As a multi-disciplined architectural practice, we find that Houzz is a great place to showcase our completed work, and a great tool for sharing Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape imagery – all in one place.
As well as sharing our completed projects we find our new clients enjoy using Houzz to share ideas. We create personalised ‘Ideabooks’ and use them as digital mood boards to quickly and easily share concept and precedent imagery throughout a project. At the end of a project, it’s also a quick and easy way to ask clients for testimonials, providing proof of our service to future clients alongside images of the related project.
The Houzz community is made up of a wide range of professionals from as well as Architects and Interior Designers, including Lighting Designers and Smart Home specialists. With so many professionals sharing their portfolio of work there is always a great selection of ideas for our next project, and we often find inspiration and new suppliers.
We’re also delighted to have been the recipient of a Best of Houzz Award for almost every year spent with the Houzz community, being recognised for our design and service among the Houzz professionals and over the past couple years we have had several new clients contact us after having browsed through Houzz for ideas.
We have recently started using Houzz Pro which allows us, as professionals, to manage and track our communications with new and potential clients. We have found it helps us to communicate more effectively with potential clients and to streamline the enquiry process.
And an added benefit to our practice is the ability to track the traffic to our page every month through the insights section which means we can quickly respond to any questions or comments about our projects.
